"록빠", 사직동 그 가게.

티베트 음식점으로 옆에 옷가게(?)도 같이한다.
카페 겸 음식점으로 마실 것과 식사를 같이 할 수 있다. 기본적으로 '툴시티'라는 차가 나오고 리필은 셀프이다.
식사를 시키면 비트에 물들인 피클과 무절임이 나온다. 피클을 담글 때는 역시 통후추를 쓰나보다.
새우커리는 부드러운 커리 식감이나 개인적으로 향식료 맛이 더 강했으면 하는 바람이 있어서 아쉬었다. 밥은 강황가루로 물들인 듯 보이고 위에는 겨자씨로 보이는 것이 살짝 올라가 있다.
두부커리는 새우커리에 비해 약간 시큼한 맛이난다. 사람에 따라서 호불호가 갈릴 수 있을 거 같아. 두부와 완두콩도 들어가있고 위에는 견과류가 뿌려져있다.
라씨는 샤벳같은 식감의 아이스크림 형태로 나온다. 라씨에 알갱이 같은 것이 씹히고 라씨 역시 위에 땅콩인지 견과류가 뿌려져있다.
짜이는 어떤 리뷰에 생강맛이 강하다고 하여 시도하진 않았다.(다시 생각해보니 좀 아쉬운 느낌.)

솔직히 가격 대비 음식의 맛이 그닥 좋은 편은 아니나, 식당의 분위기가 한 몫하는 것은 사실이다.
하지만 어느 야외좌석은 피운 향과 가까이 있어서 향 냄새가 진동했다.
마당에 고수, 바질 등 향채를 기르며, 바로 사용하는 걸로 보인다.
주문 후 계산은 선불로 특이하게도 직접 카운터로 가서 계산해야 한다.
화장실은 안쪽에 있다.

날씨좋은날 가면 백배로 더 행복한..
카레랑 커더멈 짜이 시켰는데 짜이 너~무시원하고 향도 좋고 참조앗네요 짜이 또먹고싶음
야외자리에 앉으면 참으로 자유로운기분이들어요

What a cozy hidden gem!! After a disappointing cafe visit, we stumbled upon this place on our way to a different restaurant, and it looked too cute to pass up. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food menu is limited to about 3 curry options, but what they do have, they do well (and I appreciate that there's a veg option). My tofu curry really hit the spot, and my only regret is not getting a thai chai to go along with it.

서촌에 이렇게 멋진 곳이 있다니, 감탄하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요. 친구 네 명과 가서 다 다른 카레 메뉴를 시켰는데~ 비건 카레 훌륭했어요. 친구가 논비건 카레도 맛있었대요. 식당 옆에 작은 편집숍에 홈메이드, 페어트레이드 소품들이 있어서 구경하고, 예쁜 팔찌도 샀어요🧚🏿‍♀️

We loved this place—best chai ever!

We tried the regular chai, masala chai and the cardamom chai, and all three were delicious. The tofu curry was warming and also very tasty. The service (every one who worked there) has great energy. The cafe itself was just beautiful, very organic. There’s also a little gift shop attached where they sell handcrafted items made on the premises along with some interesting imported items. Their profits go to support Tibetan refugees and children. This shop is volunteer driven with a worthy cause.

The chai, tea in India is called chai, served here is sweet and laced with spices, just like how it’s brewed in India. It was excellent.
Chicken curry with rice tasted good. The curry tasted pretty authentic Indian. Most Indian restaurants in Korea have adapted their curries to local palette, by adding sugar so the masala taste are coated by it. Perhaps, they forgot that, “Hurry makes Bad Curry”.
Due to busy weekends, customers are allowed to dine only one hour, per table.
Friendly service by the young lady server.
The shop at the entrance is packed with small curious and lovely gift items.
