Clean, tidy and friendly, but extremely worn out mattresses.
Beautiful view on the fishing harbour.
Worst western breakfast I had in years travelling Korea. Black tea missing even on request. And no Korean breakfast to compensate. Actually more of a caricature. Could be cool otherwise.

The hotel is a bit old but I personally liked the style.

Room is very large for 2 people to use,
with a lot of furnitures such as a coat hanger stand, some drawers, a microwave and a built-in induction.
The room also comes with some hair combs, basic skin care products, even a hair spray and a bug spray.
It has 2 built-in AC systems and one standing AC product, keeping the room cool.
WiFi is strong - they have one router per room.
The beds were comfortable and clean.

The bathroom is also pretty large with a bathtub and a shower.

The view from the room was very nice with fishing boats floating on the water, though not all rooms have the same ocean view

The hotel refills 2 water bottles and 2 instant coffee sticks when you leave the room which I thought was a nice touch.
You can call the front desk with a phone in the room, and the staff answers right away. The service was also very quick.
The hotel owner is super friendly!

There is a small laundry room, but I haven't used the machines so I don't know how good they are or if I have to pay.
But the machines seemed very few in number.

The gym was surprisingly nice with few treadmills and weightlifting machines.

They serve breakfast in the cafeteria for free every morning with juice, milk, cereal, bacon, sausage, etc - nothing special but enough.

There is a convenience store that is opened 24hrs which you can access through the hotel lobby.

You can also deliver food from nearby restaurants.

The hotel is located right by the water, which I liked (though I don't think it's accessible on foot), but the surroundings were not family-friendly with a lot of fishy karaoke places.

Parking is a bit pain as there are not many parking spaces so you pretty much have to park it on the street.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and especially liked the hotel owner's hospitality.

We stay in ocean hotel almost 2 months we love it big room have a small kichen you can cook if you want verry clean room the stuff they are verry helpful and we like korean people they are friendly and around the hotel alot nice restaurant shopping mall 5 minutes to walk I'm sure we stay there again when my husband get another work in korea.and they have a fitness room very clean and good machine

15 günlük kore tatilimde kaldığım en büyük odaya sahipti. Banyosu hem küvet hem de 3 duşu vardı. Manzarası okyanusa ve limana bakıyor. Kahvaltısı az çeşitli daha fazla seçenek olabilir. (Balkonunda sinekliği var.) Yine gitsem yine burda kalırım baska yer aramaya gerek yok.

I have stayed here a couple of times to visit the DSME offices and shipyard. Rooms are clean and tidy, basic, but comfortable - good for a business traveller. Breakfast is good, wide variety and a buffet so can pick and choose. Haven't eaten in restaurant as lots of other places nearby. Great location, nice view from room over harbour. Would recommend. Staff polite, helpful and speak good English.

I stayed here on and off for about 8 months from 2016 to 2017.||||The rooms are modern, clean and functional. Most of the time I had no trouble with noise and it's worth noting that there are no major roads right outside the hotel. Beds are firm, and cheap. This isn't a luxury mattress, but I did find it supportive for my back, and I was reasonably well rested each night. Each room has a balcony with some open views.||||During late spring to early autumn, it's necessary to use the air conditioning, and I found this noisy. But I am accustomed to silence, so maybe others are better used to it. Winter time sees silent underfloor heating available. You need to plug the sink in the bathroom at all times - none have waste traps so all the sewer stink will get into the room otherwise.||||Breakfast is self service, and I found my palatable options were limited to muesli and toast. I didn't fancy the cold baked beans after the first time.||||Staff were friendly and I've come to know them well.||||But in spite of all these things, it's merely a hotel that 'ticks the boxes'. It lacks any charm, character or homeliness. There no 'cosiness' when you're sitting in a room that's lit by rather stark led bulbs. The exact same music album is played each morning at breakfast and I found myself wandering if I was Bill Murray reenacting the movie 'Groundhog Day' each morning.

Stayed here whilst working at DSME and found it comfortable and pleasant. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, I was lucky enough to get a sea view and a balcony which was a bonus. Wifi as standard in the rooms is great as well as little touches like free bottles of water topped up every day. There is a small shop next to reception which is really handy for those little items and snacks etc. Handy for the town and the yard (I'm assuming most people are visiting for work!). There's a bar next to the main doors too. Ticks all the boxes!!

Used the Ocean on a regular basis (various rooms) for 2 years. Decent rooms with good views. Wi-Fi and decent TV. Laundry facilities and a gym. Breakfast was very basic and rarely used the restaurant in the evening. Handy for local bars etc and a short walk or bike ride to work in DSME. Friendly staff and enjoyed my stays there
