I joined the DMZ tour with PLK and it was an unforgettable experience!
Our guide Moon Young was absolutely amazing – so knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting stories about Korean history and the DMZ. She made the whole tour engaging and easy to follow, and her passion for sharing Korea’s culture really stood out.
If you’re visiting Korea, I highly recommend booking with PLK and asking for Moon Young – you won’t regret it!

I feel bad, I don’t remember the name of our tour company, so I took a chance on this one. That aside, this was one of the coolest experiences that I ever went on. Seeing this area was very.special. You leave the hotel around 7:00 AM and head to a meeting point for a half hour while others join. Then you are off for the day. Our guide was very easy to understand as he had a slight Australian accent. He was filled with facts about South Korea, that were captivating to hear. He shared as much as you could take in. The only photos that we were allowed to take, once we reached the DMZ were in just one spot that you can see on the highway. The train near the border was all shot up as we didn’t want to leave it for the North Koreans at the time. Being able to actually gaze in to North Korea was breathtaking and creepy at the same time. It was a once in a lifetime feeling. Going into the NK dug tunnel with hard hats. It was 55 degrees Farenheit cool down there. We walked about a 1 mile walk straight down a steep walkway, I was a bit short of breath coming back up, but I would definitely do it again!
You need to experience all of this!

Our Best DMZ Tour Korea from Seoul with VIP Travel was absolutely amazing, and the highlight was our incredible guide, Gogo. From the moment we met, Gogo’s warmth, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge about Korean history made the experience both fascinating and unforgettable.

He explained complex historical events in a way that was easy to understand and kept us engaged the entire time. His storytelling brought the history of the DMZ to life, and his personal insights added so much depth to the tour. He was patient with all our questions, made sure everyone was comfortable, and even gave great tips for taking the best photos — especially on the stunning Red Suspension Bridge.

Un beau témoignage à cette Situation bien speciale de pause de guerre depuis 73 ans. A faire absolument Malgrè le monde et le peu de temps à disposition nous plongeons dans l armosphere de séparation qui déchire les coreens. Le tunnel est unw bonne experience , l observatoire une chose bien speciale. Nous sommes rombés sur un vereran americain. Cette histoire wst toujours vivante

I’d like to recommend the DMZ tour to anyone who visits South Korea. Seeing North Korea up close and meeting a North Korean defector was an unforgettable experience. Her story of escape was heartbreaking, intense, and inspiring. I really hope she finds happiness in her new life. It is worth it and we had so much fun!

Visiting the DMZ was a really unique and surreal experience. It’s one of those places you always hear about, but being there in person made it feel much more real and impactful. Standing so close to the North Korean border, with just a line dividing two very different worlds, was both fascinating and a bit eerie.

The tour was informative we got to learn more about the history of the Korean War and the ongoing tension between the North and South. Walking through the Third Infiltration Tunnel and visiting the Dora Observatory were definite highlights. It’s strange to think how close everything is, yet how far apart the two countries remain.

It’s not your typical tourist destination, but if you’re interested in history or politics, I’d definitely recommend it. It gave me a deeper understanding of Korea’s past and present.
